Fall: A Time for Change

Vy Le, M1, Class of 2024

unnamed

This is my second ever gouache painting. I can’t believe it has taken me so long to finally try gouache, but I’m so glad I took a chance. This piece was inspired by change – changes in the season, changes that have occurred all around us. I’m not a big fan of the temperature drop, but I absolutely love the colors that fall gives us every year. The air comes alive with the warmest and most radiant colors. The world has seen a lot of changes this year, but nature never fails to remind us that some changes can be very beautiful. This painting isn’t perfect, but it was a step out of my artsy comfort zone. I hope it can inspire you to finally try what you’ve always wondered about.
